18 Appendix: Set the CPU configuration
If you have a large number of guest VMs on a host, you should ensure that the security VM has
enough processing power to scan the files they use when they all start up.
To do this, you edit the CPU configuration for the security VM.
Note:
You can edit the CPU configuration at any time. However, if you do it after you have added the
security VM to a computer group in Enterprise Console, you should wait until the security VM
complies with the group policy.
1. Power off the security VM.
2. In vSphere Client, select the security VM.
