VMware View virtual desktop infrastructure

Introduction

This section provides information on how we designed our solution for hosting 2,000 users in

a VMware View environment on EMC VNX series.

Baseline

A Windows 7 desktop is loaded with the required applications and fine tuned for the virtual

machine load. This includes removing unnecessary scheduled tasks, configurations, and

The configuration of the Windows 7 virtual machine is defined in Table 4.
